01What are AdventureRooms?
The AdventureRooms® offer a real-life escape game for groups. A team has one hour to get itself out of a locked room using wit and skill.
02What occasions do AdventureRooms suit?
An AdventureRooms game works as part of a birthday party or a stag or hen night. Companies run team-building events with us, teachers reserve the courses for their classes, and families and groups of friends get an exciting adventure and a lot of fun together.
03Which slots are still free? How do I book?
You will find the free slots on the booking page of each game. Some games are offered exclusively to larger groups; just get in touch through our contact form.
04There are X of us and we would like to play on day Y. Can you send us a quote?
From a group size of 13 people we offer games designed specially for the occasion. Please ask us about it through our contact form . For an AdventureRooms game with up to 12 people, please book directly through the booking form of the game in question, where you will also find the slots still available.
05How can I pay?
You pay when you complete the online booking, by card (Maestro or Visa) or with Twint.
06Are all the AdventureRooms the same?
No. Every AdventureRooms game in Baden is completely different. Only the basic idea is the same: 60 minutes to get out.
07How long does a game take?
A standard run lasts a maximum of 60 minutes, plus about 10 minutes each for the briefing and the debrief. An hour and a half after your booked time at the latest, you are free again. A duel between two teams consists of two halves of 30 minutes, a 20 minute break in between, and a briefing and debrief of about 10 minutes each, so a duel is usually finished after about 2 hours.
08What is a duel?
Duels are possible on certain games. Two teams of 3 to 6 people play against each other: Team A starts at the beginning of the course, Team B already in the middle. Team B has to escape before Team A catches up. After a break to reset the room, the roles are swapped.
09When should we turn up for a game?
Arriving 2 to 3 minutes before your booked time is enough. The briefing is already included in the slot, so you still get the full 60 minutes of playing time. Please try not to be late, otherwise we have to shorten the 60 minutes so the next group can start on time.
10Is there parking at AdventureRooms?
We have no parking of our own, but there are several car parks within walking distance.
11How many people can play the standard games at once?
The maximum is 6 people. With 7 or more it gets too tight and you miss many of the puzzles, so for 7 to 12 people we recommend the duel mode or booking a second game. If there are even more of you, we may find another solution. Get in touch through our contact form.
12How many people can take part in a duel?
We recommend a maximum of 12 people, that is 6 per team. For larger numbers we recommend booking two duels or an additional standard course. The ideal group size is 3 to 5.
13The number of participants has changed since we booked. What should we do?
As long as the maximum is not exceeded, it is no problem. You do not have to tell us in advance; just mention the change at reception. With fewer participants the price per person may rise slightly. The number can be reduced up to 24 hours before the slot; after that, everyone booked is charged in full.
14Can I play on my own?
No, the AdventureRooms games are a group experience, and many puzzles cannot be solved alone. Find yourself a few teammates and book a slot; together you will certainly have more fun.
15Which languages are the games available in?
The indoor AdventureRooms work independently of language and can be solved without any German. The outdoor games are the exception: Magic Portal is only available in German, Operation Mindfall can also be played in English, and the other games are currently German only. In certain cases, for example larger company events, we may be able to offer further languages. Please contact us about that through our contact form.
16What age are the games suitable for?
The minimum age to play is 16. Children and teenagers between 8 and 15 can go through the course together with adults. For younger children the course is unfortunately not suitable. Please understand that we cannot look after children during the games, because our game masters are occupied with the course. An adult is of course welcome to wait with the child on the sofa in the reception room until the course is over.
17Is the course dangerous?
Our courses are not dangerous, and no physical effort is required (no running, no climbing). As long as the rules explained at the start are followed, a course is no more dangerous than a visit to a restaurant. Tripping or bumping into something is of course always possible anywhere. Participation is always at your own risk.
18Can pregnant women take part?
Our courses are not dangerous and no physical effort is required (no running, no climbing), so taking part during pregnancy is possible. We have had several pregnant participants who completed the course successfully. Here it is especially important to stay calm despite the excitement and to follow the rules. Participation is therefore always at your own responsibility.
19Are there any other restrictions?
Our game masters may exclude anyone who is drunk. We cannot look after children or dogs, because the game masters need to concentrate on the game. For anyone with a strong fear of being chained up, our games are unfortunately not suitable. Mild claustrophobia is usually no problem, as the rooms are relatively large.
20Do you have toilets?
Yes
21Can we take photos or videos of our adventure?
Phones and cameras are not allowed during the game. After the course we take group photos in the course and publish them, with your consent, on our website, Facebook page and our Instagram feed .
22Where do I find the group photos?
We post the photos on our website, Facebook page and our Instagram feed.
23Where can I find reviews of your games?
On TripAdvisor and on our Facebook page.
24I would like to support you (sponsoring, marketing and so on). Who should I contact?
We would be delighted. Please write to us through our contact form and we will get in touch with you.
25I have a brilliant idea for a puzzle. Are you interested?
Absolutely. We cannot promise to put the puzzle into the next course, but we are always glad to collect good ideas from our players. Please send us your idea through our contact form.
26I have to cancel a booking.
That is a shame, but for a cancellation less than 48 hours before the slot a refund is unfortunately not possible. If you cancel in good time, at least 48 hours before the reserved slot, the full amount is refunded. Please keep to that deadline so that a refund can be made. Changes to a booking are possible up to 24 hours before the slot.
27We have a complaint. Where can we raise it?
We are very sorry that we did not meet your expectations. We always want to improve, so we would be grateful if you described the problem as fully as you can, so that we can work out together how to put it right. Please write to us through our contact form.
28Can I play a game more than once?
In theory yes, but you and your teammates will probably enjoy it less if you already know the puzzles. We do build new games regularly, though, and those are well worth trying.
We found nothing for that keyword. Just write to us, we are glad to help.
